Nissan will unveil its 2019 Altima in late March as a mid-size sedan that will enter its sixth generation. The vehicle will debut at the New York International Auto Show on March 28, Nissan announced.
Nissan has been selling the current generation Altima since the 2012 model year, and gave the vehicle a facelift for the 2016 model year that improved fuel economy and added optional safety technologies as well as a new SR grade.
Nissan is showing it in New York for the first time because the Northeast region has become the most popular market for the sedan.
