Networkfleet Inc. has launched a new user interface that provides easier access to detailed vehicle performance and fleet tracking information and larger maps, as well as easy, intuitive navigation.

Developed as a part of an initiative to support Networkfleet's rapid subscriber growth, the new interface was designed with direct input from fleet owners and managers across Networkfleet's customer base. While powerful enough for sophisticated fleets with thousands of vehicles, the new interface is also easy to use, allowing small fleets to get up and running quickly. In addition, the system includes integrated help and online video training to shorten the learning curve.

"We use Networkfleet to monitor all aspects of fleet management and efficiency," said Mark Iverson, maintenance director for the Eastern Municipal Water District in Perris, Calif. "Having had the opportunity to participate in the beta testing of the new user interface, we are very excited it about the release. Networkfleet's new user interface will make it even easier to perform a thorough assessment of fleet utilization, which will help us to increase cost savings and prolong the life of our fleet even further."

Networkfleet's user interface includes these features:

■ Intuitive Navigation: Left side display of all vehicles with simple tabs for GPS tracking, performance, alerts, diagnostics and services provides faster access to data for large and small fleets. Vehicles can easily be selected by groups or attributes.

■ Vehicle Dashboard: At-a-glance view of the most important vehicle information, including location tracking, patented Networkfleet engine diagnostic data and vehicle performance information such as speed history, MPG trend, and fuel efficiency.

■ Full-Screen Maps: A larger map view with configurable map controls allows for more flexibility when viewing map items such as geofences and landmarks.

■ Powerful Reporting: Instant access to sophisticated reports in a few mouse clicks, including idle time, fleet utilization, stop detail and many others, so that fleet managers can reduce operating costs.

"We designed this new user interface to work the way our customers work, while also building a platform that will accommodate rapid growth in the number and size of Networkfleet customers," said Keith Schneider, president and CEO of Networkfleet. "This new design gives more power to fleet managers by making critical data easily accessible. Together with our bundled pricing and three-year warranty, fleets can immediately start experiencing the benefits of wireless fleet management."
