Networkcar Wins Best Commercial Vehicle Solution at Telematics Awards
The Telematics Update Awards is the only event of its type to recognize industry leaders such as suppliers, OEMs, service providers and software developers whose supply telematics products and services.
Networkcar, a GPS-based provider of vehicle monitoring services, today announced that its Networkfleet wireless fleet management solution has been named the winner of the Best Commercial Vehicle Solution at the Annual Telematics Update Magazine Telematics Award program. It is the second win in a row for Networkcar, a Reynolds and Reynolds company. The Telematics Update Awards is the only event of its type to recognize industry leaders such as suppliers, OEMs, service providers and software developers whose supply telematics products and services. Networkcar won the top honor against finalists in the commercial vehicle solution category including GE Trailer Fleet Services, @Road and MobileAria. Networkfleet collects and organizes detailed performance and location-based information directly from a vehicle's engine computer and a global positioning system (GPS). This information is then transmitted wirelessly from the vehicle and made available to fleet managers via a personalized Web site accessible around the clock.
