National Processing Company (NPC), a provider of merchant credit card processing and a wholly owned subsidiary of National Processing, Inc., announced May 21 the signing of agreements with U.S. Bank Voyager Fleet Systems and Wright Express to enhance its fleet card processing capabilities. Under the terms of the agreement, NPC in conjunction with National Bankcard Services (NBS) will market fleet card processing to non-fuel retailers, enabling Voyager and Wright Express fleet cardholders a broader range of acceptance and access to additional products and services. According to the companies, fleet cards are excellent management tools that provide detailed information on drivers' purchases (product and services, quantity, fuel type, date and time, vehicle odometer readings, etc.) for businesses and governmental agencies to better control expenses. "We are excited about this new marketing and processing opportunity with Voyager and Wright Express," said Jack Williams, senior vice president of Relationship Management for NPC. "NPC began processing for the petroleum industry over 30 years ago and has remained a major player in the industry.
