Hyundai Sales Continue to Soar; June Sales Set New All-Time Record
Hyundai Motor America on July 3 announced record sales of 32,140 vehicles for the month of June, up 37 percent over the previous year, posting a fifth consecutive month of record sales and setting a new all-time Hyundai sales record in the United States. "This is the second month in a row that Hyundai has set a new all-time sales record in the U.S.," said Robert Cosmai, Hyundai's vice president of sales, Robert Cosmai. Hyundai's previous monthly sales record in the United States was set in May when the company posted sales of 31,597 units. "With our new product offerings including the new Elantra GT 5-door hatchback and improved availability of our Santa Fe sport utility and XG300 sedan, we expect our sales performance to continue at record levels," Cosmai saied. "In addition to our complete line of high-quality, high-value vehicles, another factor bringing customers into Hyundai showrooms is The Hyundai Advantage, America's Best Warranty," Cosmai said. "Hyundai buyers are covered by a 10-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty, a 5-year/60,000-mile bumper-to- bumper warranty, a 5-year/100,000-mile anti-perforation warranty and 5-year/unlimited-mile roadside assistance protection," he added.
