The 2024 Honda Ridgeline pickup truck lineup started arriving at dealerships in December 2023. The updated lineup includes the first-ever Ridgeline TrailSport— the most off-road capable Ridgeline ever, according to the automaker.

Engineered to go even further off the beaten path, the new Ridgeline TrailSport features special off-road hardware, including an off-road-tuned suspension, trail-ready all-terrain tires and steel underbody protection.

Designed and developed in the U.S., the refreshed 2024 Ridgeline lineup comes standard with a 280-hp 3.5L V-6 engine, 9-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters and torque-vectoring i-VTM4 all-wheel drive. Standard four-mode Intelligent Traction Management allows drivers to customize the i-VTM4 system for different terrains, including sand, snow, mud, and paved roads.

The 2024 Honda Ridgeline is available in four all-wheel drive trim levels: Sport, RTL, the new TrailSport and the top-of-the-range Black Edition. Beginning with the Ridgeline Sport, manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) starts at $39,7501 (excluding a $1,375 destination charge). The new 2024 Ridgeline TrailSport starts at $44,980.

"With more off-road performance than ever before, the 2024 Honda Ridgeline builds on our legacy of engineering rugged, capable and comfortable light trucks for active, youthful weekend adventurers," said Lance Woelfer, assistant vice president of Honda National Auto Sales, American Honda Motor Co., Inc. "Ridgeline sales are up nearly 22% this year, bringing new buyers into the Honda brand with, by far, the highest conquest rate in our lineup."

Exceptionally Well-Equipped

Now standard inside the cabin are a new 7-inch digital instrument cluster, along with a new, larger 9-inch color touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, and a faster processor for lag-free performance. Ridgeline's integrated navigation system has been simplified with new graphics and fewer menus.

For additional comfort and functionality, all 2024 Ridgelines also benefit from a new center console with a large, newly-integrated armrest and expanded storage.

The center-console storage bin can now swallow a full-size tablet, and an improved storage tray ahead of the shifter is large enough to accommodate two smartphones, side by side. Ridgeline's Dual-Action Tailgate and In-Bed Trunk continue as standard on all models.

Ridgeline can be customized with several post-production option packages, including the popular HPD Package. Designed to evoke Honda's racing DNA, the HPD Package adds to Ridgeline's rugged appearance with a unique grille treatment, HPD 18-in alloy wheels and all-terrain tires, and black lug nuts. The HPD+ package adds black fender flares and an oil pan protector.

New Ridgeline TrailSport

For the 2024 model year, the first-ever Ridgeline TrailSport brings even more off-road capability to the Ridgeline lineup. Exclusive rugged hardware includes a new off-road tuned suspension that improves articulation and off-road ride quality without sacrificing Ridgeline's exceptional on-road comfort and best-in-class handling.

The TrailSport also adds a steel underbody protection that shields its oil pan from sharp rocks and other off-road hazards, as well as Ridgeline's first-ever application of all-terrain tires which take its rugged capabilities even further. Standard General Grabber A/T Sport tires (245/60R18), mounted on new Pewter 18-inch wheels, substantially improve TrailSport's traction in dirt, sand, mud, rocky terrain and snow, but remain quiet and comfortable on the road.

Exclusive to Honda TrailSport models, a new available Diffused Sky Blue paint color, which debuted on the all-new 2023 Pilot TrailSport, highlights Ridgeline's rugged design.

The TrailSport's cabin stands out with orange contrast stitching on the steering wheel, door panels and seats, with the TrailSport logo embroidered on the front seat head restraints and molded onto its standard all-season rubber floor mats.

Peace of Mind

In addition, the Honda Sensing suite of safety and driver-assistive technologies is standard on every 2024 Ridgeline. On Ridgeline, Honda Sensing includes Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS) with Forward Collision Warning (FCW), Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS), Road Departure Mitigation (RDM) with Lane Departure Warning (LDW), and Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC).

For additional value and peace of mind, Honda offers purchasers of any 2024 Ridgeline the complimentary Honda Service Pass maintenance plan, which covers select factory-scheduled maintenance, as indicated by the vehicle's Maintenance Minder system, performed at a participating Honda dealership for the first two years or 24,000 miles of vehicle life, whichever comes first. These services include standard oil and filter changes, tire rotation and multi-point inspections.

The Honda Ridgeline and Ridgeline TrailSport continue to be built in America, exclusively at Honda auto plant in Lincoln, Alabama, continuing the more than 44-year legacy of company's commitment to build products close to the customer.
