Ed Peper, U.S. vice president of General Motors Fleet, will deliver the opening keynote address at the 2022 Fleet Forward Conference (FFC), convening Nov. 9-11 in Santa Clara, California. Peper’s address is titled “EVs and the Evolving Model for Fleets.”

Now in its fifth year, FFC is designed to deliver fleets solutions on electrification, connected vehicles, autonomous technology, last-mile and shared mobility, next-generation telematics, and more.

“Fleets are at the forefront of electrification, yet also at the crossroads of disruption and opportunity,” said Chris Brown, conference chair. “There’s no better expert than Ed Peper to guide our audience on how fleets will tackle this challenge. He’ll bring a wealth of knowledge to FFC this November.”

Taking place at the Santa Clara Marriott. FFC announces two developments for 2022: An expanded ride and drive, and the inclusion of the Fleet Safety Conference as a standalone track within the agenda.

Fleet Safety Conference Returns

Now in its 11th year, the Fleet Safety Conference returns to an in-person event and joins forces with FFC. Attendees will pay one registration fee to access both events and choose between concurrent seminars.

Brought to you by the publishers of Automotive Fleet, Heavy Duty Trucking, and Work Truck, Fleet Safety Conference is designed specifically for fleet, risk, and safety professionals with the goal to reduce driver distraction, limit fleet liability, and enhance safety culture overall.

The Fleet Safety Conference also brings back two awards presentations to in-person formats.

In conjunction with Automotive Fleet, the American Automotive Leasing Association (AALA) will present the Fleet Safety Award to a fleet or risk manager whose leadership and innovation have enhanced the safety of fleet drivers and the general public.

As well, Heavy Duty Trucking will also bestow its Safety & Compliance award, which recognizes trucking executives who have demonstrated excellence in fleet safety.

Expanded Ride and Drive

The 2022 FFC agenda also includes an expanded footprint for attendees to experience new electric vehicles, mingle with product experts, and experience new technologies behind the wheel in a larger outdoor interactive space.

The ride and drive and product demos will take place on the afternoons of Wednesday, Nov. 9 and Thursday, Nov. 10.

Registration for the combined Fleet Forward and Fleet Safety Conferences is open now.
