Officials in the City of Albany, Ga., approved about $1.2 million to purchase six bucket trucks and one line truck for its city-owned utility.
Five of these trucks will replace older models, and two will be used to accommodate additional crews, reports WFXL. According to Albany Utilities, the average lifespan for one of these trucks is about 10 years.
Albany Utilities is owned by the City of Albany and offers electricity, water, natural gas, sanitary sewer, solid waste, and telecommunications services.
