Ford's 2012-MY 6.8L V-10 F-650 Begins Production
Ford Motor Company announced that its new 2012 F-650 began production on Aug. 15 at its Escobedo, Mexico, production plant.

The first F-650 rolls off the production line in Escobedo, Mexico, on Aug. 15, 2012. The model’s 6.8L V-10 gasoline engine is a class-exclusive in the medium-duty truck segment, according to the company.

Ford Motor Company announced that its new 2012 F-650 began production on Aug. 15, 2012, at its Escobedo, Mexico, production plant. The MY-2012 F-650 is equipped with a 6.8L V-10 gasoline engine, a class-exclusive in the medium-duty truck segment, according to the company.
The three-valve V-10 gasoline engine produces 362 hp and 457 lb.-ft. of torque with a Ford 6R410 six-speed transmission with double overdrive gears for improved fuel economy. An optional gaseous fuel preparation package is available for conversion to compressed natural gas (CNG) or propane autogas.

The MY-2012 F-650 began production on Aug. 15 and features a 6.8L V-10 gasoline engine.

The F-650 6.8L Pro Loader with 19.5-in. wheels starts at $54,840 MSRP and the F-650 6.8L Dock Height with 22-in. wheels starts at $55,065. Average vehicle savings for an F-650 gasoline model compared to an F-650 with diesels is $8,300, according to the company.
Ford will move production of the F-650 and F-750 medium-duty trucks from Escobedo, Mexico, to is Ohio Assembly Plant in Avon Lake, Ohio, after the plant stops its current production of the Ford E-Series cargo and passenger vans.
