Ford Motor Co. will invest more than $1.45 billion at its Michigan plants to support its next-generation Ranger midsize pickup, 2020 Bronco SUV, electrified F-150s, and other upcoming vehicles, the company has announced.
Ford will invest $750 million in its Wayne facility to build the new Bronco and Ranger, as well adding a new modification center to support autonomous vehicles. That investment will create 2,700 jobs.
