Ford Planning Bronco Pickup
Ford Motor Co. is planning to launch a lifestyle pickup truck based on its 2021 Bronco SUV that could compete with Fiat Chrysler Automobiles Jeep Gladiator, according to a automotive research firm.
Ford is planning three Bronco vehicles, including a pickup truck that would compete with the Jeep Gladiator.

Ford Motor Co. is planning to launch a lifestyle pickup truck based on its 2021 Bronco SUV that could compete with Fiat Chrysler Automobiles' Jeep Gladiator, according to a automotive research firm.
The Bronco pickup truck is scheduled for production in July 2024, according to AutoForecast Solutions. Automobile Magazine was the first media outlet to report the news. Design and engineering began shortly after the launch of the Jeep pickup.
Ford's 2021 Bronco, which could be revealed in mid-2020, would compete with another Jeep product — the Wrangler. The Bronco is reportedly based on the 2019 Ranger midsize pickup and should be available to dealers in late 2020, reports Automotive News.
If the Bronco pickup comes to fruition, it would give Ford five pickup nameplates, including the F-150, Super Duty, Ranger, and yet-to-be-named compact pickup planned for a few years from now.
