
DEARBORN, MI – Ford and Azure Dynamics introduce the Ford Transit Connect Electric Wagon for the commercial vehicle marketplace. Ford said it derived the Wagon from the Transit Connect Electric and that the vehicle is designed to transport cargo or passengers. The automaker said the Wagon is suited to campus settings, such as universities, military bases, health care facilities, airports and private businesses where frequent, short-range travel is common.
The Transit Connect Electric Wagon will qualify for the $7,500 federal incentive in the U.S. California is also offering an additional $15,000 incentive from the California Air Resources Board (CARB) for the first Transit Connect Electric van or wagon purchased for deployment in that state.
