Enterprise Fleet Services, which specializes in managing commercial fleets for companies with 15 to 125 vehicles, has licensed PeopleSoft Financials software in a move company officials say was made to better serve customers. Implemented in response to customer requests for more billing and reporting choices, PeopleSoft’s Financials solution will allow Enterprise to streamline core financial business processes, which Enterprise says will result in improved customer service. Enterprise says it will have the ability to deliver a broader selection of convenient invoice formats to its customers with the PeopleSoft Financials enterprise applications. In addition, customers will receive more detailed and accurate billing statements and Enterprise account managers will have a more comprehensive billing tool for managing their customers’ accounts, according to Jeff Schuchardt, assistant vice president of Enterprise Fleet Services. “This new system will enable our customers to easily separate their recurring charges, such as monthly lease payments, from non-recurring charges such as maintenance charges, license fees, etc. that may vary every month,” Schuchardt said. “Our goal is to make our billing process easier to understand and more effective for our customers.” As a full-service company for businesses with small to mid-size fleets, Enterprise also provides services ranging from vehicle acquisition, fuel management and insurance programs, to registration, reporting and vehicle remarketing. Enterprise Fleet Services is a division of Enterprise Rent-A-Car, the largest rental car company in North America.
