Enterprise Fleet Management is a Gold Stevie Award winner in the category of "Most Innovative Company of the Year – Up to 2,500 Employees" for the 2016 American Business awards.

The American Business awards are one of the nation's premier business award programs. This is the 13th Stevie award recognition for Enterprise Fleet Management, according to the company. Previous awards include acknowledgment for achievements in business intelligence solutions; sales and customer service; new products and services; and environmental responsibility.

Enterprise Fleet Management was awarded the "Most Innovative Company" distinction this year as a result of a recent $100 million investment in information technology (IT) solutions to better serve its customers, which includes:

  • The launch of a new customer login website. The website provides advanced insight into fleet performance and key metrics, thereby enabling customers to maximize the value of their fleet and lower their total cost of ownership.

  • The deployment of 600 new Microsoft Surface Pro 3 devices to its entire North American sales team. These new devices provide even greater efficiency and mobility in the field, reinforcing Enterprise's industry leadership and longtime focus on providing customer service on a hyper-local level.

  • The development of a web-based Fleet Planning Toolkit that allows the Enterprise sales team to access multiple data points such as vehicle type, mileage, age and maintenance history for a customer's entire fleet on any device, including the new Surface Pro 3 devices, in real-time. Information collected is transformed into customizable analytics, allowing the sales team to provide customers with a complete picture of their total cost of ownership.

  • A partnership with Auto Integrate, a web-based repair and maintenance authorization tool. Auto Integrate consolidates Enterprise Fleet Management's maintenance data into a centralized portal that is accessible to Enterprise Fleet Management's nearly 70,000 auto maintenance and repair shop partners. In addition to streamlining authorizations for vehicle repairs and maintenance, Auto Integrate reduces billing issues and helps prevent customers from paying for unnecessary work. In fact, the Auto Integrate system has cut repair authorization time in half, which allows customers to get their vehicles back on the road faster.

Enterprise Fleet Management was also recently recognized as a finalist in this year's InformationWeek "Elite 100." With this annual industry award, InformationWeek magazine honors U.S. companies for setting the bar on innovative and creative IT programs that improve business operations.

In addition, for 19 consecutive years, Enterprise Fleet Management has been recognized with the Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) "Blue Seal of Excellence" award, an industry record, for high-quality automotive repair and service.

Enterprise Fleet Management is led by Brice Adamson, the newly-appointed senior vice president of fleet management. With nearly 30 years of experience at Enterprise Holdings, Adamson is now responsible for overseeing the affiliated Enterprise Fleet Management business. His responsibilities include customer service, employee development, growth, profitability and the overall direction of operations.

"Enterprise Fleet Management leads the industry in both service and technology," said Adamson. "This recognition by the business community re-affirms the value of our investment in IT solutions to help our employees, partners and customers succeed. I am honored to have the opportunity to lead the business as we continue to provide our customers with innovative business solutions and the excellent customer service that is a hallmark of the Enterprise brand."

Enterprise Fleet Management operates a network of more than 50 fully-staffed offices, which manages a fleet of more than 430,000 vehicles in the U.S. and Canada.
