Douglas Dynamics, Inc., has again been named as one of the Top 100 Workplaces in Southeastern Wisconsin, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. Douglas Dynamics is one of only 24 companies to have made the list every year since it was first published in 2010.
The annual Top Workplaces survey divides companies into small, medium and large categories and ranks each company against other companies within its category. With 280 employees, Douglas Dynamics is considered a mid-sized organization and placed seventh overall on the list.
Survey results are based solely on responses provided by employees of participating companies. The survey asks employees to evaluate their employers on 22 different criteria, including the effectiveness of management, the direction of the company, openness to new ideas, employee engagement, salary and benefits as well as training support.
Douglas Dynamics also received the “Most Clued In Senior Management” award, which was based on standout scores on specific survey questions. According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel’s report, companies that make the Top Workplaces list are not only good places to work, but are also more likely to be successful than companies that don’t make the cut.
