In an effort to better serve its core markets, Diversified Products has announced two new branded divisions for its line of products: LineWise and LiftWise.

Diversified’s LineWise brand includes a variety of lineman tools, such as energized line lifters, auxiliary arms, phase lifters, temporary conductor supports, insulated work platforms and pole pullers. All products under the LineWise name have been field-tested and approved by transmission and distribution maintenance professionals.

The LiftWise brand includes multiple models of fall-arrest man baskets designed for accessing high-reach maintenance areas. The baskets offer quick attachment to service cranes, knuckleboom cranes and digger derricks, providing a convenient, safe alternative to renting aerial lifts, using ladders or climbing on equipment.

All products under the LineWise and Liftwise brands were previously marketed under the Diversified Products name. They have been developed over the last 15 years by Diversified Product Development, a long-time provider of conceptualization, engineering and fabrication services that specializes in the utility, construction and related industries.

“We have been developing field-proven lineman tools and fall-arrest products for many years, but the Diversified name didn’t clearly reflect our specialized offerings,” said Ray Fritel, president of Diversified Product Development. “Now, we’re launching the LineWise and LiftWise brands as a commitment to our key markets so that we can provide more clarity and better cater to specific audiences.”

The LineWise and Liftwise brands will be officially revealed at the 2013 ICUEE tradeshow and exposition, October 1-3, in Louisville, Kentucky.
