Arsenault Associates today announced that David L. Reed has joined the company as Fleet Management Consultant. Reed brings more than 20 years of fleet maintenance and technology experience to the newly created position. Arsenault Associates is the industry-leading provider of Dossier fleet maintenance management software and related technology solutions. Reed will help Arsenault customers achieve the greatest benefit in the shortest time from their Dossier software system implementation. In a remarkable career that began behind the wheel of a truck, Reed has been a shop manager, fleet manager and director of maintenance for both commercial and private fleets. As vice president, garage operations for Allied Automotive Group, the largest new-car carrier in North America, Reed oversaw a staff of 450 mechanics and 70 managers and supervisors. He is a hands-on fleet maintenance expert, software educator and consultant and is well known in the fleet maintenance industry. Most recently, Reed worked for Continental Datagraphics (CDG) of Cypress, Calif. -- the Boeing business unit that directed the ambitious TMC FleetPortal project for the Technology & Maintenance Council of the American Trucking Associations.
