NexTraq, a GPS fleet tracking and vehicle management solutions company, announced Dec. 1 in a press release that its client, Estes Heating & Air Conditioning increased its driver productivity by 13 percent with the NexTraq Fleet Tracking platform.

But in an even more interesting added benefit, Estes was recently able to locate stolen vehicles before the police and recovered more than $30,000 of equipment because of the ability to track the vehicle to its exact location.

In terms of productivity, the dispatchers found NexTraq’s reporting functionality to be the most beneficial as it holds employees accountable to their daily schedules. Through the NexTraq Web Services offering, Estes was able to integrate its SAWIN application with NexTraq’s fleet management application, adding efficiencies to its already automated business processes.

Jeffrey Allison, IT Administrator for Estes Heating & Air Conditioning, said, “The tight integration between the SAWIN application and the NexTraq platform made our dispatchers’ jobs easier as they didn’t have toggle between screens to do their job; it became a much more efficient process.”

He added that workers “are able to take care of our customers more efficiently, often taking another service call not on their daily schedule. The benefits are two-fold: we help more customers and they get home faster at the end of their work day.”

Mike Scarbrough, CEO of NexTraq said, “Enabling people with tools to do their job better and more efficiently is what the NexTraq is all about. Our Web Services offering enables integration of service companies’ fleet data with third party applications such as accounting and billing, route optimization and mobile workforce management.”

As one of the top 5% of all heating and air contractors in the country, Estes said it plans to continue on its “long-term relationship” with Nextraq.
