CarTrawler, Blue1 to Partner
CarTrawler will complete integration of its solution across Blue1.com's network of sites by the end of the year.
CarTrawler, a global provider of car rental technology and distribution solutions for the airline industry, recently announced the signing of an exclusive agreement with Nordic carrier Blue1 to power the Regional Star Alliance member’s international Web sites with its multi-supplier car rental solution. CarTrawler will complete integration of its solution across Blue1.com’s network of sites by the end of the year. CarTrawler’s existing airline customer base already reaches in excess of 100 million passengers annually. After LOT Polish Airlines, Blue1 is the second Star Alliance airline to implement the CarTrawler system. Under the agreement, CarTrawler will exclusively distribute inventory from all major suppliers of car rental across Blue1's route map (covering 24 cities in 13 countries across Europe). With 450 car rental suppliers in 134 countries around the world on its system, CarTrawler will ensure that Blue1 offers comprehensive choice to their consumers with increased availability in each destination.
