Ninety-one percent of business drivers recently reported that they are more aware of the important role they play in reducing environmental pollution and are willing to act on it, according to a worldwide LeasePlan survey, the company reports. LeasePlan recently introduced the global initiative GreenPlan to support greener business fleets. The survey concluded that business drivers would consider driving alternatively fueled vehicles if the opportunity presents itself and costs are similar. GreenPlan is meant to reflect LeasePlan's belief that companies can play a vital role in the reduction of harmful CO2 emissions.
