Bobit Will Publish Vincentric Lifecycle Cost Data
Fleet specific data will be available online and in print. Vincentric offers access to over 1.8 million lifecycle costs.
Bobit Business Media and Vincentric, a leading automotive data compilation and analysis firm, announce a strategic alliance to provide access to lifecycle cost data to the fleet industry. Bobit, leaders in fleet media, will publish fleet specific lifecycle cost data for approximately 100 vehicles bimonthly in Business Fleet Magazine and online in its Lifecycle Cost Analyzer at www.fleet-central.com. Vincentric includes depreciation, fuel, insurance, financing, state fees and taxes, maintenance, repairs, and opportunity cost to create its lifecycle cost totals. Vincentric data, updated monthly, accounts for changes in fuel prices, interest rates, residual values and other lifecycle cost factors. Vincentric compiles lifecycle costs based on annual mileage rates of 20, 25, or 30 thousand miles, and lifecycle terms of 24, 36, 48, or 60 months. This results in 12 different mileage/lifecycle term combinations for each vehicle. Each vehicle configuration and mileage/lifecycle combination is available at the national level as well as for each of the 50 states and DC. With over 3,000 vehicle configurations for the 2005 and 2006 model year currently available, the most recent Vincentric data update calculated over 1.8 million lifecycle costs. This allows users to identify the specific lifecycle costs relevant to their own fleet rather than using rough estimates. Through a link on the www.fleet-central.com Web site, users will be able to access the Vincentric Web site to obtain a subscription to lifecycle cost data for the specific vehicles, state, and driving patterns appropriate for their fleet.
