Blue Wireless Announces Agreement With DaimlerChrysler Research and Technology
Blue Wireless, Inc., a provider of Adaptive Personalization and Multimedia Content Management technologies, announced Mar. 25 a trial agreement with DaimlerChrysler Research and Technology North America, Inc., to trial an Adaptive Personalization of Email solution designed specifically for the in-car environment.
According to Blue Wireless, their Adaptive Personalization technology solves key usability problems of small screen and voice interfaces by automatically prioritizing and delivering information based on learned preferences. The company’s first application using this technology, Adaptive Personalization of Email, learns users’ preferences through normal interactions and reorders incoming emails to meet those preferences, without requiring users to explicitly personalize their services. The technology continuously learns and updates users' preferences as they change over time. According to the companies, with this trial, DC-RTNA trial participants will be able to use any telephone to access their corporate emails via a voice interface. The trial will last for 90 days and will focus on evaluating the functionality and improved productivity of the Adaptive Personalization technology. Blue Wireless will use Voxeo, an integrated voice services company, to host the telephony component of the trial.
