As the economy recovers from the coronavirus pandemic, how and where will the commercial vehicle industry evolve in the new normal?
A seminar at the 2020 Fleet Forward Experience aims to provide many answers to this question from the financial, manufacturing, equipment, and fleet perspectives.
Through qualitative analysis and proprietary data, panelists will discuss present vehicle inventory fluctuations, regulatory trends, shortening of supply chains, mobile servicing, commercial vehicle electrification, and the growth of last-mile deliveries. They’ll analyze the hot commercial sectors along with the new digital tools and the vehicles, upfits, and body types needed to meet the evolution.
The seminar will be moderated by Jim Press, currently serving as executive advisor to Hyundai Motor North America and former COO of Toyota North America.
The panel consists of Kathryn Schifferle, founder and CEO of Work Truck Solutions and Comvoy; Pete Dondlinger, president of Auto Truck Group; Steve Latin-Kasper, senior director of market data and research for NTEA – The Association for the Work Truck Industry; and Kirk Mann, senior vice president and GM of Transportation Finance at Hitachi Capital America.
“Call this the Dream Team of the commercial vehicle industry,” said Chris Brown, chair of the Fleet Forward Experience. “This panel will connect the dots for fleets on the factors driving change in the commercial vehicle market today.”
The 2020 Fleet Forward Experience, a virtual event dedicated to mobility solutions for fleets, convenes Nov. 9-13 and is free for fleet operators.
