MOUNT LAUREL, N.J. -– Automotive Resources International (ARI) and Carfax today announced an expanded partnership to include service and maintenance records in Carfax Vehicle History Reports. Anyone researching the history of an ARI-managed fleet vehicle will have access to service information through Carfax. “We’re building on this partnership to help solidify our commitment to selling quality wholesale vehicles,” said Bob Graham, Director, Vehicle Remarketing at ARI. “Carfax Vehicle History Reports are one of the most trusted names in the industry. Our customers want the added confidence that comes with knowing the vehicle history is available and at the same time can use the information to build trust with their prospective buyers.” ARI and Carfax have enjoyed a long-standing relationship through which ARI reports mileage information to Carfax for its fleet vehicles. Now when ARI vehicles are sold at auction, wholesale buyers will find Carfax stickers on each vehicle that signify the maintenance history is available through www.carfaxonline.com. “One of the paramount concerns for wholesale buyers and, just as importantly, their customers is to know whether a car was well-maintained,” said Gerry Bayer, vice president of data acquisition at Carfax. “Readily available service and maintenance information in Carfax Vehicle History Reports helps everyone make better decisions about the cars they buy and sell.” Automotive Resources International, a subsidiary of Holman Enterprises, is a $785-million industry leader and the largest privately-held fleet leasing and management company in the U.S., with more than 480,000 vehicles in 2,000 leased and managed truck and auto fleets and a workforce now numbering more than 1,000. As a single-source global fleet management leader, ARI customizes strategic fleet management solutions that optimize a client's vehicle assets and help lower the total cost of fleet ownership. Founded in 1986, Carfax pioneered the concept of the vehicle history report. Carfax Vehicle History Reports, the most comprehensive collection of used vehicle information ever assembled, can confirm a clean title history or help purchasers identify previous salvage history, odometer fraud, flood damage and more. Carfax, Inc., based in Fairfax, Virginia, is a wholly owned subsidiary of the R.L. Polk & Co.
