ARI EnviroFleet Partners with SmartWay Transport
ARI is the first fleet management company to become a SmartWay Affiliate, and in that role, will work with its fleet customers to develop more environmental-friendly fleets.
Automotive Resources International (ARI), recently announced its affiliation with SmartWay Transport, a voluntary collaboration between the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the freight industry, designed to increase energy efficiency while significantly reducing greenhouse gases and air pollution. ARI is the first fleet management company to become a SmartWay Affiliate, and in that role, will work with its fleet customers to develop more environmental-friendly fleets. This program is contributing to the SmartWay Transport goal of reducing 33 to 66 million metric tons of carbon dioxide and up to 200,000 tons of nitrogen oxide per year by 2012.
