Altec Relocates Massachusetts Service Center
The service center provides a complete range of repair and maintenance work as well as Altec’s fully comprehensive preventative maintenance inspections.
Altec announces that its Massachusetts Service Center has moved to a new location. The new service center, located at 10 Fortune Drive, provides a complete range of repair and maintenance work as well as Altec’s fully comprehensive preventative maintenance inspections.
Spanning 23,800 square feet, the new and improved facility consists of two single story pre-manufactured buildings on 14.1 acres of previously undeveloped land. It consists of 16 truck service bays in a drive-through design. Each bay is 22 feet wide by 50 feet deep for a total shop floor of 17,600 square feet.
Four bridge cranes were installed on two rails, each with twin 7.5 ton trolleys, allowing a 15-ton picking capacity at any point in the shop.
“This new facility solidifies our factory-direct service network and greatly improves our hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical repair capabilities," said Dave Masters, Vice President, Altec Service Group.
Altec has 22 service centers located throughout the United States and Canada offering everything from routine maintenance and minor repairs, to complete unit remounts. In addition, Altec offers an extensive mobile service network providing customers with FPS-certified technicians for on-site repairs and 24-hour emergency support. Visit the Altec Service Group page to view a list of capabilities and service center locations.
