Altec HiLine Celebrates Expansion
After 12 years in the Port of Duluth, Altec celebrated with an open house event, highlighting recent expansions.
Altec HiLine highlighted the celebration of 12 years in the Port of Duluth with a commemorative event, which included a formal ribbon cutting at the company’s recently renovated and expanded facility. More than 100 guests, dignitaries and Altec associates attended the event. Activities included a special proclamation issued by Minnesota Lt. Gov. Prettner Solon recognizing Altec’s 12-year contribution to the Duluth area.
“Altec is proud of the partnership we have with the port, city of Duluth, state of Minnesota, and most importantly with our outstanding customers and associates in this area,” said Jon Styslinger, Altec President. “Our associates are committed to working together as a team to provide total customer satisfaction, and their efforts helped make the reinvestment in our Duluth facility a logical business decision—one that benefits our customers and strengthens the fabric of the community while growing the local economy.”
Altec HiLine expanded production capabilities and upgraded technology to improve efficiency. The renovation also included the addition of warehouse and office space.
“The expansion and renovation is more sustainable and efficient,” said David Faynik, Altec HiLine General Manager. “We are excited to have the ability to grow in the Duluth area and offer our growing number of associates a better place to work.”
