Abbott Enterprises, Inc. recently announced the acquisition of Sigmanetics, Inc., of Concord Calif. Sigmanetics has been a manufacturer and supplier of such products as voltage converters, speedometers, tachometers and road speed generators for more than 50 years. The purchase of Sigmanetics was a natural fit, according to Bob Abbott, president of Abbott Enterprises, Inc. Abbott is a manufacturer and supplier of fleet management systems, including the Atrol II Activity Recorder, Abbott Tachograph and the GPS Fleet Tracking System. "Our product knowledge and experience will assure continued distribution to all current customers," Abbott said. Abbott said the company will manufacture, service and supply all of the newly acquired product lines directly from its expanded facility in Pine Bluff, Ark.
