Ram Commercial unveiled the 2021 Ram ProMaster van at The Work Truck Show 2020 in Indianapolis, with features such as a digital rearview mirror option, standard Crosswind Assist, and advanced safety options.
New for 2021, the class-exclusive Digital Rearview Mirror option is new for 2021 and making its debut on an FCA vehicle. The Digital Rearview Mirror displays video in real time from a rear-facing camera and can be turned off to revert back to a traditional reflective mirror. It is available on all ProMaster models and offers an unobstructed rear view that enhances safety and prevents accidents while on the job.
Crosswind Assist is now offered standard on all 2021 Ram ProMaster models, which helps the driver keep the vehicle stable even when wind gusts attempt to push the vehicle off course.

The ProMaster is also offered with several available safety options, including Blind Spot with Cross Path, Forward Collision Warning with Emergency Brake Assist, and Ambient/Courtesy Lights.
Blind Spot Monitoring with Cross Path Detection warns the driver when vehicles enter ProMaster's blind spot, enhancing safety and lowering the total cost of ownership by avoiding collision repairs, downtime, and increased insurance premiums. It is available on ProMaster cargo vans.
Forward Collision Warning with Emergency Brake Assist applies partial braking to mitigate the collision and increase the driver's time to react to the impending collision, reducing the total cost of ownership by avoiding collision repairs, lost productivity, and revenue and reducing liability exposure. It is available on all ProMaster models.
Ambient/Courtesy Lights enhance lower interior lighting with LEDs for upfitters and for customers who utilize ProMaster as a mobile office. It is available on all ProMaster models.
The 2021 ProMaster is available in 18 different wheelbase and roof height configurations and features the 3.6L Pentastar V-6 engine paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission. All ProMaster models come with a class-exclusive front-wheel-drive system, according to the company.
Pricing will be announced closer to when the vehicle is available later this summer.
