The Ram Cargo Van sports a 3.6L V-6 engine that delivers up to 283 hp at 260 lb.-ft. of torque. It offers a cargo payload capacity of up to 1,800 lbs. and a towing capacity of up to 3,600 lbs. The cargo hold features a sliding door on each side, a liftgate in the back, and four tie-downs around an aluminum floor.
To help haul the load safely, Chrysler added hydraulic power-assist rack-and-pinion steering, a commercial load-tuned tire-pressure monitoring system, a front anti-sway bar, and a rear twist-beam axle with coil springs.
Standard features include 16-inch steel wheels, a 160-amp alternator, all-season extra-load capacity tires, a 730-amp battery; an engine oil cooler, quad halogen lamps, and fold-away power exterior mirrors with heating elements.

The Ram Cargo Van achieves 17 mpg city driving and 25 mpg highway. It can run on regular gasoline or E-85 and features a driver-selectable “fuel economizer” mode, which adjusts the transaxle shift schedule to maximize fuel economy. The vehicle also comes with a 20-gallon fuel tank for added range.
Multiple Options for Fleet
Ram offers a number of available options. Fleets can delete the standard aluminum floor or opt for a deluxe version with three storage bins; a MOPAR cargo security cage in the front; a rubber floor mat; and a security screen for the rear of the vehicle.
Chrysler does offer a rear-window option for the van, which includes a wiper, nozzle, and defroster. For fleets that require Internet access, Chrysler is offering a Wi-Fi option.
