Compact Vehicles

Honda Civic Hybrid
The 2010 Honda Civic Hybrid is powered by a 1.3L i-VTEC engine with Integrated Motor Assist (IMA) gasoline-electric hybrid technology to enhance both fuel economy and performance. Equipped with a continuously variable transmission, the engine produces a combined 110 horsepower @ 6,000 rpm and combined 123 lb.-ft. of torque @ 1,000-2,500 rpm.

  • Fuel tank capacity: 17 gallons.

  • Fuel economy: 41 mpg city/36 highway.

  • Cargo capacity: 11.8 cubic feet.

Nissan Altima Hybrid
The 2010 Altima Hybrid offers a revised front-end appearance, new 16-inch wheel design, refined interior fabric and finishers, and one new exterior color. Toyota Camry Hybrid
First offered in 2006 as the first Toyota hybrid built in the U.S., exterior enhancements to the 2010 Camry Hybrid include a hybrid grille, distinct front bumper, wider lower intake, restyled fog lights, and 16-inch alloy wheels. The Camry Hybrid, equipped with Hybrid Synergy Drive, is also certified as an Advanced Technology Partial Zero Emissions Vehicle (AT-PZEV).

  • Fuel tank capacity: 17.2 gallons.

  • Fuel economy: 33 mpg city/34 highway.

  • Cargo capacity: 10.6 cubic feet.

Mercedes-Benz S400 Hybrid
Joining the restyled 2010 S-Class line, the S400 Hybrid offers the same interior room, luxury, and convenience features, but is differentiated by 17-twin-spoke 18-inch wheels and HYBRID logos on the trunk lid and dash, as well as BlueEfficency badging on the front fenders. A special hybrid pictogram within the speedometer shows the energy flow, energy recovery, and battery charge.

  • Fuel tank capacity: 23.8 gallons.

  • Fuel economy: 19 mpg city/26 highway.

  • Cargo capacity: 19.8 cubic feet.

  • Fuel economy: 34 mpg city/31 highway.

  • Cargo capacity: 97.3 cubic feet.

Toyota Highlander Hybrid
The Highlander Hybrid continues with Hybrid Synergy Drive, extensively upgraded and refined for the second generation for both power and fuel economy. • Fuel tank capacity: 17.2 gallons.

  • Fuel economy: 27 mpg city/25 highway.

  • Cargo capacity: 146.7 cubic feet.

Chevrolet Silverado Hybrid / GMC Sierra Hybrid
The 2010 Silverado Hybrid and Sierra Hybrid full-size pickups achieve 40-percent greater city fuel economy and a 25-percent improvement in overall fuel economy while offering a 6,100-lb. towing capacity. Partnering GM’s two-mode hybrid system and a 6.0L gas V-8, the hybrid trucks perform efficiently, including all-electric driving up to 30 mph and traveling more than 500 miles on a single tank.

  • Fuel tank capacity: 26 gallons.

Cadillac Escalade Hybrid / Escalade Platinum Hybrid
The key to General Motors’ two-mode hybrid system found in the 2010 Cadillac Escalade and Escalade Platinum Hybrid is that the system generates the electric power used to propel the vehicle. When brakes are applied or the vehicle is coasting, the electric motors within the hybrid system create electricity stored in the 300-volt battery which moves the vehicle and renews the regenerative braking cycle.
