The competition has heated up in the heavy-duty pickup market as FCA debuts the 2019 Ram 2500 and 3500 Heavy Duty pickups, which features class leading torque, payload, and towing capabilities.

A key achievement is the capability to generate a first-ever 1,000 lb.-ft. of torque with the all new 6.7L Cummins High Output Turbo Diesel. In addition to 6.7L Cummins diesel, the Ram HD can also be ordered with a 6.4L HEMI V-8 gasoline engine mated to a TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission that allows it to deliver 410 horsepower and 429 lb.-ft. of torque. The 6.4L HEMI V-8 offers cylinder deactivation and variable cam timing for fuel optimization.

There is new suspension tuning that includes Frequency Response Damping (FRD) shocks, progressive springs, and re-engineered bushings. The rear air suspension now features a driver-activated Bed Lowering Mode, Normal/Payload Mode, and Trailer-Tow Mode.

Interior Completely Redesigned

The interiors of each trim level of the Ram 2500 and 3500 have been completely redesigned with new authentic materials, colors, and textures. In the center console is an Uconnect 4C NAV with a 12-inch fully configurable screen, including a customized Sirius XM 360L system. The center console has been redesigned to feature 12 different storage configurations, including optional dedicated/assignable switches, wireless charging dock and up to five USBs, including Type-C ports.

The 2019 Ram HD offer active noise cancellation, anti-vibration devices and acoustic glass to insulate the interior cabin from road noise.
