Held in Cleveland, Ohio, Ford dealers, fleet customers, and upfitters were invited to attend a total immersion event for the all-new Ford F-650/F-750 medium-duty trucks.
The event included a tour of the Ohio Assembly plant, complete overview of the trucks, and ride-and-drive opportunities. Attendees learned about the all-Ford powertrain, upfit capability, improved delivery method and reduced NVH levels of the new truck. The ride-and-drive was held at the Ohio Assembly Plant in Avon Lake, Ohio, and participants were given the opportunity to test both the 2016 gasoline and diesel products on a simulated daily driving route.
Offered in three cab styles — Regular Cab, SuperCab, and Crew Cab — and three models — straight frame, dock height, and two all-new dedicated tractor models for heavy towing — the new F-650/F-750 features the second-generation 6.7L Power Stroke V-8 diesel and medium-duty 6-speed TorqShift HD automatic transmission. In addition, the area behind the cab was redesigned to more easily accommodate custom work bodies, such as tow truck, dump truck, and ambulance bodies.
