The lock mounts permanently inside the vehicle's tailgate with approximately one hour of installation.

Pop & Lock LLC, a provider of tailgate security products, released its Power Tailgate Locks for the Nissan Frontier and Titan, which provide a secure remote locking option to the factory tailgate lock.
Designed to fit the 2006-2013 model-year platforms for the Nissan Titan and Frontier, the new PL8400 and PL8450 locks are designed to work with the factory manual tailgate lock and use the trucks existing key fob to lock the tailgate when locking the passenger doors.
The lock mounts permanently inside the vehicle's tailgate with approximately one hour of installation.
