Nissan is appointing Arcangelo Lofaro to the role of vice president, Nissan U.S. Sales & Regional Operations, effective July 1. Lofaro succeeds Judy Wheeler, who is retiring after nearly 15 years of dedicated service to the brand.
“Judy has played a pivotal role in strengthening our dealer network, driving sales performance and fostering the next generation of talent at Nissan through her mentorship efforts,” said Vinay Shahani, senior vice president, U.S. Marketing & Sales, Nissan Americas. “We are immensely grateful for her leadership and wish her all the best in her well-earned retirement.”
Lofaro is returning from a foreign service assignment at Nissan’s global headquarters, where he served as division general manager, Global Sales & Dealer Network Division for both the Nissan and INFINITI brands. Since joining the company in 2008, he has held key roles, including director of Nissan U.S. Sales Operations and regional vice president for the Nissan Northeast Region.
Lofaro will be based in Franklin, TN and will report to Shahani.
“Arcangelo brings deep expertise, a global perspective and a strong track record of collaboration with our dealer partners,” added Shahani. “I’m confident he’ll build on the solid foundation we’ve laid and lead our team to success during this transformative period and beyond.”
