This year’s winning truck, the Isuzu N-Series Diesel, rose to the top from a competitive field of 12 tough contenders. Work Truck readers recognized the Isuzu NRR Diesel as a standout, voting it as the truck that best meets their fleet’s real-world needs.

“All of us at Isuzu are excited to earn the Work Truck of The Year Award from Work Truck magazine for the fifth time out of its 17-year history. The honor is extra special to Isuzu and all the dealers as this award was voted on by the readers of Work Truck, customers, and fleet customers on our new 2025 N-Series Diesel. To earn this award in the first year of the production of the new redesigned cab is amazing as we took a lot of feedback form customers on what they were looking for in this new cab design,” said Shaun Skinner, president of Isuzu Commercial Truck of America

About the Medium-Duty Truck of the Year Award

The Medium-Duty Truck of the Year award invites vehicle manufacturers to nominate their top contenders. The ultimate winner is chosen by professional fleet managers who cast their votes based on factors, such as real-world performance, reliability, overall quality, ease of maintenance and repairs, and total cost of ownership.

"Back-to-back wins for the Medium-Duty Truck of the Year award is no small achievement. Congratulations to Isuzu for earning this recognition once again! The Isuzu N-Series continues to prove itself as a tough, reliable, and efficient workhorse that fleet managers can count on day in and day out. This truck isn’t just winning awards; it’s getting the job done where it matters most. Well done, Isuzu!" said Lauren Fletcher, Vice President of Content for Bobit Business Media and Work Truck.

The Isuzu team received the award on March 5 at Work Truck Week 2025, held in Indianapolis, where they were recognized for their outstanding achievement in the industry.
