Pritchard EV and Pritchard Commercial divisions of Pritchard Companies have been approved to add the Chevrolet BrightDrop product to their portfolio. The 2025 Chevrolet BrightDrop will be the next product Pritchard EV will add that qualifies under California’s Hybrid and Zero-Emission Truck and Bus Voucher Incentive Project (HVIP) program.
“As more commercial customers start to explore EVs for their fleets, we want to be sure Pritchard Commercial and Pritchard EV are positioned at the forefront of the market for product offerings and after-sale service,” said Scott Sasser, VP of Commercial & Global Sales, Pritchard Commercial. “We’re eager to get the Chevrolet BrightDrop in front of our customers as an option as the market evolves into adding electric to their fleets.”
BrightDrop Offers Range & Cargo Space
The Chevrolet BrightDrop, the newest addition to the Chevrolet portfolio, is an all-electric walk-in van for the commercial vehicle market. It is available in two models, the 400 and 600.
The BrightDrop has a 272-mile combined city/highway range and advanced features to help keep the driver safe and alert. It features a max payload of 3,710 pounds and has up to 614.7 cubic feet of cargo volume.
BrightDrop was first introduced to the market as a General Motors subsidiary at the Consumer Electronics Show in January 2021. In 2023, it was integrated into GM Envolve, the company’s fleet business that serves commercial and government customers.
Pritchard Companies said adding the Chevrolet BrightDrop vans to its offerings will give customers access to sales and service through its nationwide sales and service network. The auto dealer brings more than 110 years of automotive commercial vehicle experience to the marketplace.
