InterMotive Vehicle Controls, a manufacturer of electronic control systems, enhanced its Aftermarket Interface Module (AIM) with a new integrated security feature. AIM now provides the ability to lock/unlock auxiliary doors and cabinets using the OEM key fob, increasing security for work trucks, ambulances, and other specialty vehicles.
AIM is a programmable power relay unit used to control and/or activate equipment while optimizing vehicle performance. The system offers eight CAN data multi-level high/low true outputs used to drive external loads and a high idle feature to increase electrical and mechanical vehicle operation.
