Youngstown introduces the world's first arc-rated, cut-resistant, flame-resistant protective performance work glove designed and made for emergency gas situations, according to the company.

The FR Emergency Gas Glove is made with leading edge FR materials, such as the rugged FR palm made with materials by Schoeller Works. A cut-resistant liner made with 100-percent Kevlar fiber by DuPont lines the entire glove from fingertip to cuff. The extended gauntlet cuff is designed to fit over FR suits to ensure total hand, wrist and forearm safety. FR 3M Scotchlite promotes high visibility in lowlight conditions.

The result is increased efficiency, productivity, comfort and safety for workers, according to the company. Meets NFPA 70e – 2012 Standard.
