The new Forward Lift F10 10,000-pound capacity two-post lift comes with one three-stage arm and one two-stage arm on each column, enabling technicians to properly lift a wide range of cars, light trucks, SUVs, and vans.

Third-party tested and certified by the Automotive Lift Institute (ALI) to meet industry safety and performance standards, the Forward Lift F10 two-post lift is available through most national auto parts retailers, as well as from more than 100 Forward Lift authorized distributors across North America.

Symmetric lifting is preferred for most trucks, SUVs, and vans because it centers the vehicle load between the lift’s columns to maximize lifting capacity. Lighter cars can be better serviced using an asymmetric lift. This positions the vehicle toward the rear of the bay to prevent its doors from contacting the lift’s columns when opened, and provides easier access to the interior of the car and its under-dash components.

The Forward Lift F10 has one three-stage arm and one two-stage arm on each column, which lets technicians make the appropriate configuration choice for each vehicle. The rear arm has a maximum reach of 58 inches toward the back of the vehicle, while the shorter front arm can be angled toward the middle of the bay. This asymmetric-like setup supports the vehicle’s center of gravity and places the vehicle’s doors clear of the lift’s columns. For symmetric lifting of larger vehicles, the technician simply shortens the rear arm and angles the front arm more toward the front of the bay.

The F10 features Forward Lift’s unique Direct-Pull Lift Technology, which replaces common push cylinders in the lift columns with direct-pull cylinders. This design protects the cylinder rod inside the carriage when lowered, and inside the cylinder housing when raised. This technology also provides the best mechanical advantage against side loading, one of the most common causes for cylinder leaks.

Additional features on the Forward Lift F10 two-post lift include a single-point lock release for easy lowering of the vehicle, low-profile 3-5/8 inch rubber-pad swivel adapters, and extra height extensions (3-1/2 and 5 inches) for reaching vehicle manufacturer-recommended pick-up points.
