Connectivity features include its standard Entune 3.0 audio system with Wi-Fi connect, Amazon Alexa voice recognition, Siri Eyes Free, and Apple CarPlay, which displays on an 8-inch touch screen.

The compact car offers a city mpg of 53 miles, a highway mpg of 52 miles, and a combined amount of 52.

The hybrid is available with Toyota’s Safety Sense 2.0, which offers a pre-collision system with pedestrian detection; automatic high beams; dynamic radar cruise control; lane departure alert; and lane tracing assist.

The battery is stored beneath the rear seats, which means the Corolla Hybrid retains its familiar cargo space including 13 cu.-ft. Cargo space.

Because of the extra interior and cargo space the hybrid Corolla can accomodate 60/40 split-folding rear seats.

The hybrid model uses a 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine with an electric motor that puts out 121 horsepower and 105 lb.-ft. of torque.

Under the center divider is a USB media port, and a USB charge port.

Toyota extended the hybrid battery warranty for several 2020 model year alt-fuel vehicles, including the new hybrid, by two years and 50,000 miles.
