Chevrolet's 2020 Silverado HD

Built at the Flint Assembly plant in Flint, Mich., the all-new 2020 Silverado HD is longer, wider, and taller than its predecessor with a wheelbase that’s been stretched 5.2 inches on Crew Cab models and is scaled for HD customers. 

Members of the media were given the opportunity to test drive the new trucks in Bend, Ore. 

While the anvil may have been just for looks, the trucks were truly hauling 35,500 pounds of metal sheets.

Silverado HDs offer a choice of two 6.6L V-8 engines.

Chevrolet hooked up the Silverado 3500HD to a trailer towing 35,550 pounds.

Hauling the 35,500 pounds was easy, with the available torque the truck had no problem moving the weight.
