The Dearborn body assembly plant was part of $329 million retooling so the aluminum F-150 could be produced.

An F-150 starts its journey down the line.

As part of the retooling, 500 all-new robots were installed.

While most of the production process is automated, skilled technicians inspect each body to make sure it has no defects. The body plant employs 600.
