Wright Express has received the Maine Investors Award in recognition of the company's ongoing commitment to improving the Maine economy. The Maine Investors Award is presented by the Maine State Chamber of Commerce to companies who make contributions to the growth of the state economy and who implement successful strategies to drive their own growth. In the past year, South Portland-based Wright Express, a provider of fleet cards and fleet management services, says it has invested millions of dollars in new technology in Maine. Wright Express also believes that it is good business to become active in the local community.
