Wright Express Reaches Deal With Royal Farms Stores
Through its Affinity Card Program, Wright Express says it has developed a new branded fleet card for Royal Farms, a mid-Atlantic convenience store chain. Wright Express, a provider of fleet management services, has developed the branded fleet card which Royal Farms now offers to fleets in its market area. The new card, which also includes the Wright Express logo, allows Royal Farms to offer the benefits and features of a Wright Express fleet card program at a reduced cost and with limited administration requirements, according to the company. Maryland-based Royal Farms operates more than 60 stores in the Maryland, Delaware and Virginia area that sell both fuel and traditional convenience store items. Royal Farms also sells prepared food at many locations and uses the slogan, "Real Fresh. Real Fast." The Affinity Card program from Wright Express allows small businesses that do not have the resources to handle extra administrative duties or big budgets to offer a branded fleet fueling card to increase sales, build brand awareness and establish customer loyalty, says the company. "The Affinity Card is a great program for small businesses that want to offer a full-featured card, but have limited resources," said Michael Dubyak, president of Wright Express. "We are pleased that a quality business like Royal Farms is taking advantage of this program. This deal also continues to extend the reach of Wright Express by further increasing the number of locations where our cards are accepted." South Portland-based Wright Express is a provider of fleet charge cards to the fleet maintenance and fueling industry with its cards accepted at more than 160,000 locations. Wright Express also provides information management, payment processing, and financial services to fleets through card partnerships with oil companies and fleet management companies. Through its own universal fleet card program, its partners' card programs and its MasterCard program, Wright Express has nearly four million commercial cards in its markets. Wright Express LLC, a subsidiary of Cendant Corp., employs more than 640 people at its headquarters in South Portland, Maine and its subsidiary in Salt Lake City, Utah.
