Wright Express has reached an agreement to develop and manage a joint fleet card program, through a strategic alliance with Merchants Leasing, an independent, nationwide automotive leasing company. As part of the new five-year cobranded arrangement, Wright Express, a provider of fuel cards and fleet management services, will service more than 3,100 new cards and add more than 200 new accounts to its cobrand portfolio. New Hampshire-based Merchants Leasing provides a source for all commercial vehicle leasing needs, regardless of size, and uses the slogan, "Any Vehicle, Any Quantity, Anywhere!" Merchants Leasing says it strives to provide superior customer service and develops programs that are tailored to customer needs. The company offers all-inclusive, closed-ended leasing programs that include insurance, license and title programs as well as what the company describes as "a high level of customer service." Merchants Leasing says it "follows a three-point plan to trouble-free leasing: professional design, implementation, and management." "Merchants Leasing is a great cobrand partner for us," said Gary Robbins, vice president and general manager of Partner and Merchant Acquisition at Wright Express. "Both of us pride ourselves on superior customer service and providing customized programs that are tailored to the needs of the customers," Robbins said. Wright Express cobrand programs are designed for companies that already provide vehicle-related services to the commercial market. Once a fleet card program is developed, Wright Express provides the level of service, including billing and customer service, desired by the company. The Wright Express logo and that of the cobrand partner appear on every card. "It is critical to our business that our partners provide the same high level of service that we provide our customers," said Robert Singer, chief operating officer of Merchants Leasing. "Clearly, Wright Express has the reputation as a company that develops strong relationships with partners and customers and one that provides the best fleet card programs in the industry."
