A six-speed manual transmission is standard on both Jetta and Jetta GLI, with the eight-speed automatic optional for the Jetta and a seven-speed DSG dual-clutch automatic transmission available on the GLI.

IQ.DRIVE driver assistance technology is available from the entry Jetta trim, and standard on GLI.
