SiGEM Launches Wireless ASP Offering for Vehicle Fleet Management
Ottawa-based SiGEM Inc., a provider of GPS-based vehicle location-tracking systems, has launched its ePiNG FleetMonitor Wireless-enabling ASP offering, which is designed to help commercial and public transportation fleet managers control vehicles and assets remotely. EPiNG FleetMonitor enables users to view, manage and track mobile assets and provides users with productivity reports, vehicle information, travel time and alerts via e-mail and paging devices. EPiNG FleetMonitor integrates with SiGEM's ePiNG Echo, an in-vehicle GPS receiver and wireless modem. In addition, SiGem has partnered with Maptuit to offer maps of North America to fleet managers, enabling them to see the location of the whole fleet, or specific vehicles, and where the vehicles have been over time.
