Puradyn(R) Filter Technologies Inc. has announced a program with Volvo Trucks North America (VTNA) to market Puradyn's bypass oil systems through VTNA and all of its participating dealers. There are currently 200-plus VTNA dealers in the United States that will have the opportunity to participate in this program, which is aimed at purchasers of Class 7 and Class 8 trucks. "We are pleased that Volvo Trucks North America has recognized the advanced technology we can offer their customers," said Kevin G. Kroger, president and chief operating officer of Puradyn. "As a leader in the industry, we are continuously raising the bar on performance of bypass oil filtration by improving our product line. We look forward to offering these new enhancements to our joint venture customers for years to come. "With stricter gaseous emissions standards for the on-highway truck industry being introduced in 2002 and beyond, oil filtration will become an ever-growing concern due to higher soot levels created by nitrous oxide (NOx) reductions," Kroger said. "We know and have proven our system will help Volvo meet these requirements and reduce the oil filtration concerns of customers." For more information, contact Volvo through its local dealers or at www.volvotrucks.com. Puradyn can be reached at 1-866-PURADYN or at www.puradyn.com. About Puradyn Puradyn manufactures and markets the Puradyn Bypass Oil Filtration System, a unit that continuously filters lubricating oil by reducing solid contaminants to less than one micron, as well as removing liquid contaminants, therefore maintaining the oil's viscosity and greatly reducing or even eliminating the necessity for oil changes. As a result of this continuous process, the useful engine life can be extended, according to Puradyn. Puradyn says its system is effective for internal combustion engines, hydraulic applications and automatic transmissions in the automotive, transportation, construction, marine, agriculture, mining, military and power generating industries. In addition to the economies realized by the reduced purchases of new oil and the costs of disposing used oil (up to 90 percent) and extended equipment life, the Puradyn Bypass Oil Filtration System has been certified as a "Pollution Preventing Technology" by the California Environmental Protection Agency.
