North America's business climate is in a state of change. With climbing interest rates and housing statistics weighing negatively on the economy, the automobile market is surely to follow. In order to help executives hedge against business decay, the National Vehicle Leasing Association (NVLA) has retooled its Certified Vehicle Leasing Executive (CVLE) Program and will re-launch its executive level continuing education program February 2-3, 2007 at the Phoenix Marriott in Phoenix, AZ. Nancye Combs, AEP-SPHR, the course moderator and previous featured speaker at the White House on programs with the President, the Vice President and Members of the Cabinet, will present the Human Resources and Leadership module of the CVLE Program. This course segment will detail: organizational design and development, business plans and management strategies, hiring the best to ensure success, the manager as communicator, developing and motivating staff, the manager as leader, coaching for maximum performance, and managing performance issues. The Certified Vehicle Leasing Executive Program of the NVLA provides upper level vehicle leasing industry management and business owners with hands-on experience and tools to further their success. The prestigious CVLE designation, first awarded in 1985, is earned through the completion of four course sessions over a two-year period, and is only awarded upon the successful completion of all four sessions of study and requisite exams.
